The design employed unconventional food colors; pink and green are generally not used on food. However, Zhenjiang is a city nestled between mountains and water, and this is my impression of Zhenjiang: springtime.

It also referenced a traditional Chinese pastry: the longevity peach, eaten by the elderly on their birthdays, symbolizing longevity. Hengshun, a century-old brand, is also celebrating its own birthday.

A longevity peach (shòu táo) is a traditional Chinese steamed bun shaped and colored to look like a peach, symbolizing long life and immortality, and is served at birthday celebrations, especially for elders, as a blessing for a long life.

Zhenjiang has a museum of vinegar.
